From Hanoi to Halong: Pick up time 08.00 am - 08. 30 am within the old quarter only
From Halong to Hanoi: Pick up time 12.00 am - 12.30 am at Port Waiting Lounge - Sunworld International Port (Bai Chay)

Limousines
There are some Limousine shuttle services from Hanoi to Halong and back, the Limousine is the personalized edition of the normal van /coach. The redesign to have fewer, bigger and more comfortable seats, some even have a massage function. Each seat will have cup/bottle holder, USB charger socket and 220v three round pin AC socket. Take cruises right after airport landing
From Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), your flight must arrive no later than 9.00 am. In this case, you need to book a private transfer from Noi Bai International Airport to travel to Halong Bay directly. It takes approximately a 2.5-hour on the highway.
From Cat bi Airport (Hai Phong), your flight must arrive no later than 11.00 am. In this case, you need to book a private transfer from Cat Bi Airport to travel to Halong Bay directly. It takes approximately one hour. Request the transfer in advance, contact resa@tonkincruise.com

Take flight right after the cruises
If you have a flight out of Noi Bai International Airport after your cruise, your departure flight must be no earlier than 4.30 pm for an international flight and 03.30 pm for a domestic flight. In this case, you have to book a private transfer directly from Halong Bay to Noi Bai International Airport. It takes approximately 2.5-hours on the highway. You can also take the shuttle bus service to travel from Halong Bay to Hanoi, then a private transfer from Hanoi to Noi Bai Airport if your flight later than 06.00 pm for international flight and 05.00 pm for a domestic flight. Early disembarkation is available upon advance request. If your flight is ealier than the above times, you can skip itineraries and lunch on second day and take a speed boat to the port ealier (Speed boat takes 30 minutes to port only but costly from US$ 150.00 for group up to 4 pax and US$ 250.00 for group up to 10 pax). contact resa@tonkincruise.com

Rest Stops
There is a rest stop mid-way on the journey from/to Halong Bay. The main reason for the rest stop is for passenger comfort, i.e., use the clean bathroom, get refreshments, stretch the legs, etc. The stop will normally be for 20 to 30 minutes. Other companies use the same rest stop, so take a moment to remember your vehicle registration number.
Luggages
At Garden Bay Cruises, the crew members will help to carry your luggages from Tender to boat at your room door and vice versa, you have to carry your luggage from waiting lounge to tender. You may bring all luggage, but it's recommended to bring necessary personal possessions in backpacks for easy movement on a short trip. Big luggage will be left at your hotel in Hanoi for free as per their policy.
