NAM DINH ECO TOURISM AT XUAN THUY NATIONAL PARK & GIAO XUAN COMMITTEE

Day 01: Hanoi - Nam Dinh - Giao Xuan - Giao Thuy (L/D)

AM: Private tour guide & car of Vietnam tonkin travel will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old quarter, transfer to Nam Dinh province, short break on the half way. Around 11.30, arrive in Giao Xuan - one of five communes in the buffer zone of Xuan Thuy National Park, check-in homestay, Relax & enjoy local lunch.

Giao Xuan has all characteristics of the region with a long coastal line, mangrove forests, large alluvial ground for aquaculture, mild climate, and hospitable people, and the unique culture of Red River delta. All these characteristics give Giao Xuan striking advantages to become a pilot site for development of the community-based ecotourism. As attractive points of this tourism model one can consider the unique architecture of Boi houses, specific characteristics of the Red River coastal area, the open-land culture, beautiful landscape...

PM: Doing biking trip along the beach from Giao Xuan to Quat Lam beach, passing beautiful hamlets, rice fields, salt fields, churches, pagodas, Fish sauce villages...Swimming at the Quat Lam beach in the late afternoon. Then you can bike back to homestay or take a local tuk-tuk (around 10 kms)

At night: afer delicious dinner with local family, you will enjoy "traditional music show" - A wonderful traditional operetta (Cheo) tunes performed by “farmer artists”.

Day 02: Giao Xuan - Giao Thuy National park tour & back to Hanoi (B/L)

AM: Get up early & experience the amazing atmosphere of fisherman at the habour, after night they go fishing far from the habour, they bring many kind of fishes back & sell to every one, then, passing local maket & take some foods for breakfast.

Around 9.00 am: Enjoy amazing boat trip through Xuan Thuy National park, seeing & taking picture of many type of Bird: Platalea minor, Eurynorynchus pygmeus, Limodromus semipanmatus, Tringa stagnatilis, Egretta eulohotes, Penecanus Philippensis... You also have chance to see the local people raises scallops at the scallop fields in the sea.

Enjoy last fantastic lunch with seafood in the tent on the beach.

PM: Around 2.00: Depart back to Hanoi. We will reach Hanoi center around 5.30 pm, the Nam Dinh Eco & bike tour with Vietnam Tonkin Travel will be finished!
